Rapper Jab has released his fourth extended play, TROT SZN. Diverse in its offerings, the six-track EP sees him covering both familiar ground and new territory.

The EP leads with “STOP, DROP & ROLL” which Jab first previewed last year and has since been much anticipated. The track is exceeded by its excellent hook but Jab only turns in one brief verse; Lavez of Melbourne provides the other verse as the only guest appearance on the EP. A drum and bass remix of the song by producer NMD is also included. Other tracks on the EP are the assertive “SPARTAN FLOW”, lyrical exercise “ALIEN FLOW”, sole single “EQUAL” and West Coast-influenced “THIS IS MUSIC”.

It is a solid return to form for Jab who overcame a set of major health problems last year. Support one of Adelaide’s finest and check out TROT SZN on all streaming platforms.
