Yooo!!! The time is almost here. Busy times for a young player so I have been behind by a week but these are the signings from last week; none happened this week (as in the week I am writing this). With the South East Melbourne Phoenix complete their roster, there is now only one main roster spot left in the whole league: a certain import point guard now long desired by the Perth Wildcats. Let’s get into it.

Lachlan Bofinger to Sydney Kings

Position: Forward
From: Norths Bears (NBL1 East)

As has been standard convention for the Sydney Kings this offseason, there was no announcement on their website for the signing of Lachlan Bofinger as a nominated replacement player for the season. He has spent the last two years playing for the Norths Bears in the NBL1 East where he enjoyed a breakout this past season. Bofinger previously spent five years playing college basketball in the United States at UTSA and St. Mary’s (Texas).

Sam Davidson to South East Melbourne Phoenix

The South East Melbourne Phoenix completed their roster with the addition of Sam Davidson on a one-year deal. He had joined the team as a training player but impressed during preseason so that he now earns himself a full roster spot (a similar situation happened to his teammate Daniel Foster last season who started as a development player and was also promoted). Davidson played four years of college basketball in the United States for Spring Hill and Rogers State from 2021 to 2025. He spent the last two seasons playing for the Dandenong Rangers in the NBL1 South.

Peitok Machar to Sydney Kings

2025–26 statistics: 3.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, .1 assists, .7 blocks, .4 steals, 70.3% field goal, 57.7% free throw

Peitok Machar joins his hometown Sydney Kings on a one-year deal as a development player. He spent the last three years in the United States playing college basketball including last season at the Division I level at McNeese State where he made a remarkable 70.3% of his field goals.

After spending preseason with the Cairns Taipans, Kobe Williamson earns a permanent roster spot by signing with them as a nominated replacement player for the season. He spent his rookie season with the Tasmania JackJumpers but appeared in 7 games with limited minutes despite being a fully rostered player. Williamson was released by the JackJumpers in May but finds a lifeline with the Taipans.
